Scholarships for our Certificate courses

We are pleased to offer scholarship options for our key certificate courses built on the new science of philanthropic psychology.

Our scholarships are designed to support dedicated professionals and volunteers in the charity sector who are passionate about enhancing their fundraising practices through the application of philanthropic psychology.

Available Scholarships

Scholarships will be available for the following courses:

  • Certificate in Philanthropic Psychology (February and September) *please note scholarship spaces for the Certificate in Philanthropic Psychology are now full until 2027

  • Certificate in Fundraising Copywriting (February and September)

  • Certificate in Legacy Fundraising (February and September)

One scholarship place will be offered for each course running.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be working in the charity sector in a professional or voluntary capacity for an organisation with less than £500k annual income

  • Hold a position such as fundraiser, Trustee, or volunteer

  • Demonstrate interest in applying philanthropic psychology to enhance fundraising practices

Please note: If you are working as a Consultant you will not be eligible for a scholarship place.

Application Process

Interested candidates should submit a written application which includes:

  1. Personal Information:

    • Full Name

    • Current Role

    • Organisation Details

  2. Organisation Overview:

    • A brief description of the organisation's mission and activities

  3. Personal Statement:

    • A 500-word essay addressing:

      • How the chosen course will benefit your career

      • The potential impact on your organisation
